OUR STORY

AOD is an artistic representation of the fusion between afro and street cultures, a soulful essence that is represented in every garment. All pieces are inspired by the music, art, history, style and the connection to the spirit that run deep through African diaspora cultures. The purpose of this brand is to connect people from all backgrounds to an afro inspired perspective. 

The brand began as a personal mission from two cousins raised in the US by way of the U.K. and born in the motherland. On a day to day basis raised seeing the dichotomies but at the same time similarities between traditional African culture at home and western sub-cultures when stepping out into the world. AOD is a medium of expression displaying these cultural fusions, in subtle ways at times and boisterous ways at other times. 

We believe strongly in buy once wear forever, we want every piece you wear not only to be built to last but they are always designed in meticulous manner with timelessness in mind.
